Philosophy is about thought. We use our minds to consider paradigms and paradox. Mind rules - but only what we bring to the world is truly holy. What do I mean. You can think about helping people, and the intension is fine - but this thought amounts to nothing and has no value unless you actually do something. Get out there and help people. You can have compassion for people and this is fine - but unless compassion leads to action - then of what value is it. You hear a flood is on the way and every day you say, I should start on that boat. The flood appears and you drown.
Action, what you do in the world a) cannot be undone b) is the only thing of value that we can offer each other c) truly expressed thought
Wonder how you got to this point in your life, happy or sad? Good, or bad. Look to your past actions. Your thoughts lead to your actions, your actions expressed your thoughts more clearly than you can even contemplate.
Truth is inarguable. And action is truth.
Next - how our actions can carry unintended consequences and what does that mean.....
